A New Standard in Used Equipment
Certified is a new standard in used equipment. Gone are the days of buyer beware… When you see the Certified label on a machine, you can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that your machine has been through an extensive industry leading 140-point inspection. Each of DEVELON’s 140 points is classified individually as Excellent (A), Very Good (B), or Job-ready (C). In the end, any item that doesn’t fit into one of these three categories is repaired or replaced, and the machine receives the grade of the single worst rating of any single item. DEVELON takes all the guess work out of the process.

What is Remarketing?

Remarketing is the process DEVELON uses to Certify used machines. Remarketing includes an Inspection, evaluation, and certification process by a Remarketing trained technician.  All oils and coolant are sent for independent analysis, allowing DEVELON to guarantee the certification process and provide industry leading powertrain and hydraulic warranties on certified machines. 

As of January 1, 2024, DEVELON Remarketing has expanded the CERTIFIED warranty program to offer your customers more coverage options. Based on DEVELON CERTIFIED inspection and fluid sampling result, each used machine is eligible for the following warranty options based on the following A, B, C Standards.

A Standard

  • Age: Max. 4 Years.
  • Frame: Max. 5,000 Hours,
    Structurally Sound with no Cracks or Welds.
  • Undercarriage / Tires: Max. 50% worn on all components.
  • General Appearance: Excellent.
    Close to "like new" condition.
  • Performance: Operationally sound.
    Meets all performance specs Telematics.
  • Full Warranty - Available for 1 year/1000 hours or 2 years/2000 hours.

 

B Standard 

  • Age: Max. 6 Years
  • Frame: Max. 7,000 Hours,
    Structurally Sound with no Cracks or Welds.
  • Undercarriage / Tires: Max. 50% worn on all components.
  • General Appearance: Excellent.
    Close to "like new" condition.
  • Performance: Operationally sound.
    Meets all performance specs Telematics
  • Powertrain & Hydraulics Warranty: Available for 1 year/1000 hours or 2 years/2000 hours

 

C Standard 

  • Age: Max. 9 Years
  • Frame: Max. 9000 Hours, No significant structural problems
  • Undercarriage / Tires: 25% life remaining on all components
  • General Appearance: Only minor leaks of any sort. Minor Cosmetic issues. Sheet metal is acceptable "as-is". The operator's compartment is acceptable. Hinge and pin bores show normal wear.'
  • Performance: Operates and is job ready. May need minor adjustments and repairs for peak performance.
  • Powertrain Warranty: Available for 1 year/1000 hours
